Buffet pass-through designed by Le Corbusier and produced by Pierre Guariche for the layout of the Unité d'Habitation in Firminy, around 1965. This model is part of the Unités d'Habitation programme developed after the Second World War. In Firminy, where construction began shortly before Le Corbusier's death in 1965, Pierre Guariche was responsible for the interior design, based on the architect's plans. Made of mahogany and double-sided white laminate, it features sliding doors that open from both sides and internal shelves. The structure rests on a base of solid mahogany. Coming directly from the building, it retains its original patina. France, around 1965.
