50s earthenware pitcher with a textured decoration inspired by corn cobs. The body is entirely crafted in regular relief, forming a very graphic honeycomb pattern, enhanced by wide vertical golden stripes that elegantly structure the silhouette. The warm hue, between honey and caramel, captures the light and reveals the richness of the material. The shape is generous, slightly curved, with a well-defined ribbed handle and a subtly curved spout, giving the whole piece a true decorative presence. Impressed marking under the base: B.71. No manufacturer's stamp. Height 20 cm, width from handle to spout 17 cm, maximum diameter 13 cm, base diameter 8.5 cm. In beautiful vintage condition. Light wear on the golden highlights, discreet and in line with the age of the piece. Estimated capacity of 1.3 litres. Equally elegant as a table pitcher or a vase for a few branches, it immediately adds relief and warmth to a shelf, console, or bistro table.
