Charming and very original, this pretty dark bamboo console will not go unnoticed with its pretty structure in a japanese style embellished with 4 fir green and turquoise ceramic tiles and some other small details, including the small wooden finishes in the shape of a pagoda at 4 angles! According to my research, she would be from the house perret and vibert (house of bamboos), which was confirmed to me by an antique dealer specialized in the furniture of this house, to whom I sent some photos. But I have no formal proof (no plate on the furniture, no similar furniture formally identified on the web...) and no other information, not even on the time of this furniture (i think of the first half of the 20th but without any certainty). This piece of furniture is in relatively good general condition, still solid, but has several problems that should be restored: one of the ceramic tiles on the tray is broken and has probably been reglued (the repair can be seen, but the tile remains well glued in place). Several bamboo parts are missing: on the tray (see photo, I imagine that originally, the bamboo of the tray was "arranged" symmetrically), a lack on a decorative reinforcement of the structure (front face, under the drawer, on the right), and a lack on the back side. Stains on the wood of the tray. Small metal "buttons" dress some parts in bamboo, but I do not know if there is a lack of them in places or if, on the contrary, those present were added later... The varnish and coloring of the furniture no longer seem very homogeneous. This console is 72 cm high, the top measures 57 cm by 35 cm, the body is 46 cm wide and 26 cm deep. It weighs about 4 kg.
