Very beautifully made, it was covered with a period varnish (hard, thick, dark and especially harmful) After stripping, sanding and applying a colorless satin varnish, it looks great with its original brass hinges and clasp. The wood highlighted by this stripping is superb. 📐 37x24x15 cm.
