Jacques Lauterbach's bronze pestle ashtray, 1960s

Sublime solid bronze ashtray by jacques lauterbach, 1960s. Very beautiful composition purified and minimalist volumes, supported by a subtle play of textures: grainy and patinated dark for the crucible and heel, smooth and polished gold for the upper and outer of the crucible. This ashtray (or pocket-empty) is absolutely new stock (nos)! It bears the artist's signature under the heel and a "solid bronze" label. They come from a new batch from the 1960s of the lauterbach foundry, which you can find on my selency shop. Diameter: 10 cm, height: 4.5 cm, length of pestle: 12.5 cm. Weight: 750 grams.
