Very beautiful set of two black design candlesticks (original color) designed by mikaela dörfel for menu, danmark. They are not in production anymore and therefore very sought after, also here in denmark. The candlesticks are called "tango" or "twisted" and are inspired by a dancing couple, but usually they are referred to as "double". They can be put together/arranged in several ways, each of which gives the candlesticks a new look, so beautiful and decorative. One candlestick is marked "design mikaele dörfel" on the bottom, the other "menu". Height: 32 cm. Total weight: approx. 1 kg. They are used (vintage), but show almost no signs of use.
