Harald Notini, brass table lamp, Böhlmarks, The Modern Scandinavian

Harald Notini (1879-1959), son of the sculptor Axel Notini. Harald trained as a sculptor, designer, and interior architect. Notini worked for the Pukebergs glassworks and the Böhlmarks lamp factory throughout his career. At the age of 79 (1958), he still had his office and tasks at Böhlmarks. Notini is represented at MoMA in New York and the Nationalmuseum in Stockholm. Table lamp in brass and white lacquer, model '15632', designed by Harald Notini for Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik. Sweden, 1950s. Brass, white lacquered metal shade. Manufacturer's mark with the number 15632. All original parts. Beautiful patina from use, small natural colour variations.
