Cups from the Sarreguemines art workshop. 1970s

Set of eight stoneware cups and matching saucers, made by the Sarreguemines Art Workshop in the 1970s. Beige chamotte stoneware, hand-painted floral decoration, touches of brown and cream that catch the light like a small ember in the workshop. Cups: diameter 7 cm, height 5.5 cm, width with handle 9.5 cm. Saucers: diameter 13.5 cm. Very good condition, smooth surface, decoration intact. Ideal size for a long espresso, small morning coffees, rich hot chocolate, or for casual gatherings. The set has the warmth of simple, sturdy tables, the kind that withstand the cold season without a word.
