Magnificent and rare pair of large wall mirrors in Louis XV / Rococo style, early 20th century. It is extremely rare to find these models in an identical and symmetrical pair. They are perfect for dressing the sides of a fireplace, framing a large console, or bringing classic elegance and depth to a room, with a beautifully crafted solid wood frame (mahogany). These are not lightweight reproductions in resin or moulded stucco, but a genuine piece of cabinetmaking in solid wood; the mirrors are heavy! (Approximately 7/8kg). Pleasantly flowing elegant lines, topped with a superb sculpted pediment in the shape of a shell, in generally good condition, the wood has a beautiful shiny patina, with a few light signs of use and age that do not affect the overall aesthetics.
