Authentic set of school wall charts from the famous Rossignol editions (Montmorillon), true icons of French classrooms from the 1950s-1960s. This exceptional lot consists of 4 double-sided boards (i.e., 8 potential visuals) and its original wooden frame. 3 boards are in very good vintage condition: The colours are vibrant and the paper has retained a beautiful natural patina without yellowing or excessive tears. 1 board shows signs of use: A few visible tears. Frame: Made of solid wood, functional and robust, typical of period school furniture. Board 1 (VG): Prehistory / Roman Gaul. Board 2 (VG): Clovis and the Franks / The Invasions (9th-10th). Board 3 (VG): Roman France / Ancient Greece. Board 4 (Damaged): Barbarian invasions from 373 to 481 / Empire of Charlemagne. Dimensions: Approximately 90 cm x 75 cm. Complete lot for sale.
