Description
Pretty vintage coffee/tea bowl in white limoges porcelain decorated with a gold rim, as well as golden handles. Stamped with: "jammet seignolles – limoges france – exclusivity" Limoges porcelain is one of the two main porcelain productions of france, and the only one from a real production territory, located around the city of limoges in the hautes – viennes. It was in 1768 that exploitable deposits of kaolin were found, an essential material for the production of this ceramic, and it was from this discovery that limoges porcelain was born and developed. In 1825, françois baignol moved to la fabrique, on the edge of the forest of brigueuil and founded one of the first factories in the department, then sold it to henri seignolles and his associates in 1962. Particularly innovative, j. Seignolles becomes the first factory in limoges to produce decorations on an extra-white paste guaranteed unalterable in the dishwasher, in perfect osmosis with its time. This piece of refined tableware will be perfect for preserving / serving sugar in pieces or powder, in all elegance. H 17 X la 16 cm. Bc 2023-150.
