Zanotta cavour cm desk designed by carlo mollino in 1949. The zanotta desk is a design from 1949 by the eccentric italian designer and architect carlo mollino. This desk is one of the results of mollino's search for the perfect structure for a ski lodge. In this design by the eccentric italian designer, a balanced contrast is central, and the organically shaped frame is combined with the sleek, geometric shapes of two storage elements. This beautiful desk is perfect for anyone who appreciates elegance and maximum use of space, and makes an unforgettable impression both in the workplace and at home. This desk was made in the 1980s. On the right side under the top is a cabinet with five drawers of storage space. In addition to storage space, this voluminous cabinet also functions as a sturdy leg. A pull-out storage drawer has been created on the other side of the frame, which in a dynamic position seems to form a counterweight to the slanted, boomerang-like frame. You can see into the storage drawer through the brilliant crystal glass on top of the drawer, which is repeated in the top of the table. The base consists of solid wood, with a natural oak version, the desktop is made of 12 millimeter thick tempered glass, which is slightly thicker than the glass on the storage drawer. This is 8 millimeters thick. The same color is used for both glass plates.
