A unique piece, this large reception desk comes from the Kyoto International Conference Center, designed by Sachio Otani and inaugurated in 1966. The center's furnishings were orchestrated by Isamu Kenmochi and his studio, the Isamu Kenmochi Design Laboratory, in collaboration with renowned Japanese manufacturers such as Tendo Mokko and Yamakawa Rattan. This desk is distinguished by its wooden base covered in gray leather, accented by an elegant stainless steel plinth, and a rosewood top with clean, clean lines. A perfect marriage of functionality and aesthetics, reflecting the modernist spirit of the project. Edition: Tendo Mokko, 1966.
