Bolster vintage magazine rack table gold metal

Vintage mid century two tier side table with metal magazine rack from the 50s - 60s. What sets this side table apart from others is the design. The square-shaped top and second shelf are made of wood, with a warm teak-colored veneer. The frame surrounding the top, the upside down hairpin legs and the v-shaped magazine rack, are made of metal with a brass color. The frame just above the top shelf, is an almost perfect square with a small opening at the front, which is finished with plastic end caps, it looks very nice in contrast to the wood. The frame itself allows certain objects to rest against the sides and back. It connects to upside-down hairpin legs that double as handles, making the piece easy to pick up and move. The four feet all have their original, black, plastic end caps. The piece is overall in very good original vintage condition. It has slight signs and marks of age and use on the wooden shelves (see photos), the general structure, as well as areas of faded color and patina from time (see photos), but nothing that takes away its beauty and freshness. The table is solid and stable. Perfect size to maximize space in a small space. A superb piece of retro decoration that can be used as a side table, sofa end table, bedside table or anything else.
