Renaissance-inspired Dutch four-door oak column cabinet with lions and putt
An exceptionally high-quality reproduction of an antique four-door cabinet featuring architectural columns, inspired by an original 17th-century piece. Crafted in the 1960s with meticulous attention to detail and a deep appreciation for the original design, nothing was left to chance. From the hand-forged locks and cast-iron nails to the hand-carved ornaments, every element has been executed with the same precision found in the 17th-century prototype. The cabinet is constructed entirely from solid oak and is richly decorated with characteristic features, including columns, *putti* (cherubs), lion heads, and graceful acanthus leaves. It is an impressive piece of furniture that beautifully combines fine craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and historical detailing. Acquired from the original owner and preserved in exceptionally fine, virtually unused condition. The cabinet is in mint condition, showing little to no signs of wear. For transport, the piece can be disassembled into two sections. 189 cm high, 149 cm wide, 64 cm deep.
