"Lotus" armchair by Rob Parry for Gelderland, 1950

Lotus is one of rob parry's most beloved chairs. It combines the reliable and functional solution with a modern combination of materials – metal, quality wood and homogeneous upholstery materials of good quality. At the end of the 50s, this chair was new and revolutionary. The separation of frame and material has made this chair more elegant and lighter. A very rare ottoman added to the chair made the set unique and one of a kind. This armchair was restored, wooden frame refreshed and oiled, black metal parts cleaned. New upholstery.
