Quimper set of two cups with their saucers, clover-shaped

Gorgeous set of two quimper cups with their saucers, made and hand-painted, in the shape of a clover. It is a set made expressly for a couple, one of them represents a man and the other a woman, both offering a flower to the other. It is perfect as a wedding gift, not only because it represents a couple, but because the clover is well known for bringing good luck. What more do we want for a couple who begins this new adventure. Everything is absolutely exquisite in this set: the original clover shape, the hand decoration on all sides, as well as the little legs on the cups and saucers. The set is in very good antique condition, but the fact that they are handmade means that they are not the same. There are signs of use and a couple of small chips on the women's mug. The cups measure approx. 12 cm wide, 9 cm deep and 4.5 cm high. The saucers measure 14 cm "diameter" and 2.5 cm high.
