Proof that in vallauris, we didn't only make very colorful or even kitsch things, here are five adorable terracotta bowls with a pretty speckled enamel, foamy in soft and comforting gray beige and chocolate tones. They will be perfect for drinking a hot chocolate behind the bay window or serving soup to your guests in this rainy weather! They are stamped vallauris in hollow underneath. Although not signed, I wonder if they are not by christian muratore (atelier le champ du village in vallauris from 1985) because the enameling looks a lot like that of some of his pieces. He mainly made utilitarian ceramics, bowls in particular. These bowls are in good general condition, no cracks or chips, one has a very small chip on the rim, but not very visible. Especially since they all seem "worn" in places on the edge, but it is original, it is a bias I think, to put a very thin layer of enamel on the edge and therefore in some places, there are gaps. I have a sixth, but it has a significant shine, I will provide it with the other 5 if you wish, and otherwise it will stay at my place and will be diverted into a pot for a small succulent! Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed; ) they measure 12 cm in diameter for a height of 6.5 cm.
