Beautiful antique figurine/toy from the late 19th or early 20th century in terracotta, hand-painted tunisian "ideqqi" artisanal pottery, depicting a bird, perhaps a pigeon. Ethnic/primitive art vibes. Red earth, hand-painted beige earth coating painted with traditional black and brick red patterns. Approximately 12.5cm long, 10.5-11cm high, 7cm wide. Very good overall condition, wear of time of course, but harmonious overall. Cracking on the bottom of the chest, some small chips and traces of rubbing, small defects in the varnish. Approximately 290gr.
