1960s vintage desk by Fabricius & Kastholm

Vintage desk from the 1960s by Fabricius & Kastholm – chrome steel structure, glass top, rosewood veneer. Jørgen Kastholm (1931-2007) & Preben Fabricius (1931-1984), a Danish duo known as Fabricius & Kastholm, famous for their minimalist and elegant designs from the 1960s. A period piece, representative of the work of Fabricius & Kastholm, a classic of mid-century modernism, highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts of Scandinavian design. Very good overall condition, retaining all its original charm (see photos): some light scratches on the glass top, slight signs of oxidation on the chrome steel, typical of age and material. Drawers and structure are solid, with no play or deformation, some missing veneer.
