Sofa / 3-seater bench Scandinavian style – Vintage style

Superb 3-seater Scandinavian-style sofa/bench with slatted armrests, featuring authentic vintage charm. Not being an expert, I can't provide its exact date, but it comes from a seller specializing in vintage furniture and dates from the 50s/60s (metal frame and period attachment system). Very practical, its armrests easily fold down to transform it into a functional guest bed. Seating, comfort, and fabric: • Comfort: The large seat cushion is heavy, removable, and offers firm comfort. The three back cushions are very comfortable and in good condition (perfect for a living room, although it's not an ultra-soft model). • Fabric & Fastenings: The upholstery is a green-blue fabric with reflections, featuring buttons and white piping. It currently has some tears and stains (see photos) and will need reupholstering. The snap fasteners underneath that attach the seat to the frame are not all present and will need to be replaced. Structure and general condition: • Structure: The frame and base are made of metal, slightly rusted over time (see photo). • Wood: Due to moving, the solid wood structure has a few small dents in places (see photos), visible up close but do not detract from the superb retro profile of the piece. Ideal for a vintage restoration project! I'm parting with it due to lack of space in my new home. Dimensions: H 74 cm X L 172 cm X D 72 cm (Seat height: 43 cm).
