This iconic set of Model 78 dining chairs was designed by Niels Otto Møller and produced by J.L. Møller Mobelfabrik in Denmark 1962. A refined example of Danish Modern seating, the design perfectly balances sculptural lightness with exceptional craftsmanship. The frames are crafted from richly grained rosewood, showcasing beautiful natural color variation and the softly tapered legs characteristic of Møller’s work. The gently curved ladder-back rests provide both visual rhythm and ergonomic support, while the proportions remain light and well balanced from every angle. The seats are upholstered in black leather, offering a striking contrast to the warm tones of the rosewood and ensuring lasting comfort. Each chair retains its original metal Møller tag, confirming authenticity and quality. The set is in very good condition. The leather shows very light scratches, visible in the last photo. These signs of wear are minor, consistent with age and use and do not detract from the overall appearance or comfort.
