French work, 1970. H 39 X W 90 X D 90 cm. Brushed steel and glass. Good condition. Smoked glass top resting on a curved brushed steel base, clean lines without ornamentation. Designed by François Monnet for Kappa, one of the leading French publishers of stainless steel furniture in the 1970s, alongside Xavier Féal — a material then seen as decidedly modern compared to the previously dominant wood. Square format, suitable for a living room or as an occasional use piece.
