A very typical small stool from the mid-century period. It was used as a seat for children or as a stool to rest your feet. Elegant wooden legs could have been unscrewed in the past, but over decades of use, they have gotten shaky so much that they have been glued into the base. This striking and useful ottoman will be a nice addition to any retro, vintage or modern vanity make-up corner. It can be used as a side chair or a footstool in your living room as well. Or it can help make your bathroom cozier and more aesthetic. The mid-century stool was made in Yugoslavia in the 1960's and is still in good shape with visible signs of aging and wear. This small space age cushion stool was made by Slovenian company Javor and its name is Jurček (mushroom).
