Pair of armchairs type 53, designed by J. Smidek for TON, Czechoslovakia, 1960s. The distinguishing element of this model is the large bent armrests, characteristic of products manufactured by TON. The seats have been reupholstered in beige and orange soft fabric. The solid wood legs have been restored and refinished.
