The base and fittings are made of patinated bronze, giving it remarkable weight and stability. The central body is hand-painted Gien faience, a type of earthenware from a prestigious French manufacturer renowned for its quality and the richness of its decoration. The faience features a rich and vibrant design, inspired by the Italian Renaissance. A cobalt blue medallion stands out, adorned with a charming putto (angel/cupid) in gold and reddish tones, framed by scrolls and gilded ornaments.
