2 Thonet Coeur N°28 bistro chairs in wood, 1925

Set of two chairs No. 28 by THONET circa 1925, with original wooden seats and "bistro" frames. This model, which was exclusively produced by Thonet (Mundus, then part of the Thonet group, also offered it from 1922), is well-known in its "ring" version for foot support in the shape of a heart but is rare with the "bistro" frame equipment. The versions of this chair from 1920 onwards were increased in seat height and total height, making this set very usable on a daily basis due to its elegance and ergonomics. I graciously offer to equip these chairs with new screw-in pads (origin Germany) made from a material suitable for the location where they will be used (work carried out after purchase). Dimensions: Seat height: 47 cm - Total height: 84 cm - Seat: 37 x 39 cm. Beautiful walnut colour under natural shellac, one chair is lighter than the other.
