Henredon round furniture

Rare american cylindrical storage unit from the 1970s, burl veneer (elm Walnut?), removable interior shelf. Set in very good condition, only flaw, about thirty discreet small light orange stains on the varnish of the top (see photo) arrived I don't know how, I never tried to remove them.
