Superb Girard et Barrère globe from the 1950s/60s, with a cardboard globe and a black lacquered metal base. This is a beautiful and authentic vintage piece, with great decorative appeal. The softness of the material and colors allows it to blend easily into any interior, and the metal base, reminiscent of string shelves and Scandinavian style, lends a light and stylish touch to the object.
