Vintage French inflatable globe on stand, 1960s, Taride Sevylor. Large vintage inflatable globe with a gold metal base from 1967. This is a very modernist and original globe in the shape of a balloon with a valve for re-inflation, made by SEVYLOR, featuring a TARIDE Paris map from 1967, mounted on a gold metal stand. The balloon globe fits into the chassis. The globe is, of course, in French. It is an unexpected object worthy of a cabinet of curiosities! The inflatable globe is in good condition, while the metal stand shows some loss of gilding. It will be shipped deflated. Height 48 cm / 18.9" Diameter 40 cm / 15.7" Weight 0.6 kg.
