The rare large pendant lamp made of hand-blown Murano glass, manufactured in Italy in the 1960s. A transparent glass shade with a "Pulegoso" treatment that adds a precious texture and a white "Lattimo" band around its entire circumference. The "pulegoso" glass is made using a method often employed in the 1920s, with the addition of gas oil to boil the molten glass. Countless small irregularly shaped air bubbles within the glass deliberately limit its transparency. "Lattimo" is a special glass treatment. It is a milky white glass whose opacity is due to the presence of microcrystals. The crystals alter the refractive index, giving the glass mass a milky appearance. Excellent vintage condition. The metal has a natural patina. E27 bulb required. Suitable for 220 and 110 volts. Maximum height with cable 92 cm.
