Unique coffee table in solid oak

A unique piece shaped around the natural beauty of oak. This coffee table is a handcrafted creation made entirely by hand, designed from two slices of solid oak trunks. Its top is particularly remarkable for its dimensions and thickness: * Length: 100 cm. * Width: from 59 to 70 cm, depending on the natural shape of the wood. * Thickness: 9.2 cm. * Total height of the table: 44 cm. The exceptional thickness of the top and its variations in width allow for maximum preservation of the shape and natural character of the original trunks. A truly unique top. The grain, knots, irregularities, and natural cracks of the oak have been preserved to maintain the identity of the wood. The natural cracks have been filled and stabilised with epoxy resin, providing both strength and a discreet finish while allowing the natural marks of the wood to show through. The final finish is done with Rubio Monocoat oil, chosen to sustainably protect the oak while preserving its natural appearance, feel, and the depth of its grain. A base made in the same artisanal spirit. It is constructed with traditional and uncommon joinery, including a Buenos Aires trestle joint, to achieve a structure that is both solid, elegant, and original. Therefore, this is not just a top placed on standard legs: the entire table is uniquely crafted.
