Thun enamel plate signed Schoch-Läderach, antique, Swiss, handcrafted and rare.

Sublime and rare large round plate in Swiss pottery, Thun enamels, antique (1878 - 1890), signed/stamped Schoch-Läderach. Made of incised terracotta with stylised flower motifs and geometric friezes, glazed on a very pale white/yellow background, in dark green, dark orange-red, yellow, and dark blue tones. Superb handcrafted production. 31 cm in diameter, 2 cm in height, slightly hollow in the centre. Very good overall condition despite its age, with some signs of wear, notably a few discreet small losses of glaze, two small losses of glaze in the centre (one visible on a green leaf, another smaller and more discreet on the beige background). Glaze cracked with age, harmonious overall. Approximately 1 kg.
