Art Nouveau library in burr walnut by Léon Jallot

We offer for sale this magnificent bookcase composed of a display cabinet with drawers at the base and handles inspired by Egyptian design, handcrafted in Paris, France, by Léon Jallot in the Art Nouveau style. This piece is part of a large suite of bookcases in walnut and American walnut (burr walnut). It features an oak frame, several panels in American walnut and burr walnut, with gilt brass handles signed L Jallot, depicting Egyptian scarabs. This piece is in excellent vintage condition, with a natural patina according to its age. The dimensions are: height 160 cm, width 201 cm, depth 48 cm. Please note that there are no shelves for the side cabinets, but they can be made to order at cost price.
