“Kolding” armchair designed by Erik Wørts for IKEA, Poland, 1960s. This piece reflects the robust craftsmanship characteristic of the factory’s production, made possible by the use of advanced woodworking machinery at the time. Crafted from solid oak wood, this model is defined by its massive armrests and cigar-shaped legs. The cushion is upholstered in a blue-gray bouclé fabric. This piece perfectly embodies the Scandinavian mid-century modern aesthetic characteristic of Erik Wørts' designs. Completely restored. The armchairs have a well-preserved manufacturer's signature.
