Rare salon set from the Far Horizons collection by the American publisher Ficks Reed, emblematic of modernist design from 1954, consisting of a pair of armchairs and two ottomans. This set is distinguished by its elegant structure made of bamboo and stained rattan, enhanced with visible bindings and brass tips, signatures of the "campaign / tropical modern" style developed by Ficks Reed in the mid-20th century. The lines are both robust and refined, designed for indoor use as well as for a veranda or a holiday residence. The generous proportions offer excellent comfort, further enhanced by cushions covered in a beige fabric, understated and perfectly suited to the aesthetic of the set. The rattan bindings and structures are well preserved. Dimensions: Armchair: 75 X 66 X 89 cm. Ottoman: 39 X 66 X 66 cm.
