Belgium / 19th Century / cupboard / oak / Neo-gothic / Antique. Flamboyant gothic style cupboard with 4 doors, handcrafted in Belgium. We found this exceptional piece in the Belgian castle of Vichte, which has existed since the 12th century. We had the cabinet fully professionally restored while retaining the original patina. The beautiful patina enhances its authenticity and historical value. The cabinet was made around the 19th century with elements from the 16th century (top panels). The cupboard has four large carved doors with religious figures, on the left of the cabinet we see Mary of Burgundy. Also, sculpted dragons, grotesque geometrical motifs and refined figurative details in neo-gothic style. The cupboard has an open base with decorated pillars and an impressive upper part with two levels and decorated frieze. This large and imposing oak neo-gothic cabinet is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship, artistry and functionality, making it a unique heritage piece for collectors of antique furniture and Flemish Renaissance art. The intricate carved details showcase the timeless beauty of antique oak furniture. The overall patina on the rich, warm tones of the oak wood add a touch of elegance, while the neo-gothic design brings a sense of history and sophistication to your interior. Its impressive size and presence make it a perfect statement piece for a grand space. Ref. 23-0092_A.
