Naviglio Coffee Table Set by Piero De Martini for Cassina, 1980

Beautiful set of coffee tables created by italian architect and designer piero de martini for cassina, naviglio model dating from 1981 and produced only from 1980 to 1989. Inspired by japanese aesthetics, these tables are distinguished by their clean lines and timeless elegance. The large table has a wooden frame with dovetail joints resting on four curved black metal legs, with a top divided into four slate squares carefully integrated into the wood. The complementary small table has a wooden top with a central slate insert, ideal as a side table or additional decorative element. Dimensions: large table: 114 X 114 X 21 cm small table: 57 X 57 X 7 cm both tables are in excellent overall condition, with only minor signs of wear on the metal legs, consistent with their age and careful use. The original cassina label is present under the top. These iconic 80s design pieces will bring a sophisticated and unique touch to any contemporary interior.
