Pair of end tables, cocktail tables (1972) This beautiful set of 2 modern living room tables, the lines are sober as are the glass tops which represent solar flares around a central sun with colors and reflections all over made successful. This rare and luxurious model is inspired by a modern and energetic neoclassical style. Description: Pair of metal tables with gilded bronze patina and original varnish presenting a square structure with tiered ornament forming a top in which is enclosed an églomisé and mirrored glass. The decor offers a very beautiful variation of old pink/purple/navy blue colors evolving into light turquoise depending on the angle of light. On visual examination of the examples sold after complete polishing and revarnishing, the square top would be in brass and the feet in nickel-plated steel. L 48 x 48 x H 36.5 cm Weight 2 tables: 20.200 kgs Weight 1 table: 10.10 kgs Condition: Although lightly used, with extremely light wear, these two tables really do not present any aesthetic or structural problems. The whole thing is in superb condition and very, very close to new condition. No oxidation or verdigris alters the original varnish. The structure shows no scratches. The glass tops are in perfect condition. The black plastic pads at the ends of the feet are present and solid. Very rare in this condition with a superb original bronze patina.
