Old kitchen island – Architect's workbench

An old architect's drawing table transformed into a central kitchen island, fully restored. This unique piece made of solid oak features 4 large drawers with antique black shell handles and a varnished pine top for optimal protection. The added metal legs provide a comfortable height and an authentic industrial workshop feel. This piece will easily find its place in a chic country kitchen, a bohemian interior, a family home, or a vintage workshop decor. Carefully restored in my workshop in Provence, I operate under the name Une Hirondelle à l’atelier. My workshop specialises in characterful antique furniture, sourced from folk art or trade furniture.
