This mid-century cabinet reflects the Baroque Brutalist style that emerged in Denmark in the 1960s. Often attributed to Danish designer Henning Kjærnulf, it blends traditional European detailing with the bold, geometric forms of the Brutalist movement. Made from lightly dark-stained oak, the cabinet highlights the natural depth and texture of the wood. The center panel features a carved diamond-point pattern that adds structure and visual rhythm. On either side, two large doors are framed with detailed floral and leaf carvings, bringing a subtle Baroque influence to its strong, architectural shape. Hand-forged iron strap hinges and decorative keyholes add contrast and reinforce its solid character. The piece stands on a trestle base with a scalloped apron and visible joinery, underscoring its craftsmanship. With generous interior storage and a strong presence, this cabinet works well in Scandinavian Modern, rustic, or contemporary spaces. All our furniture undergoes a detailed review in our warehouse. Every item is structurally firm and solid, even though the pieces are vintage or antique and do sometimes display a slight patina, as shown in our photographs. We offer cheap shipping worldwide and can offer express delivery within 14 business days for an additional fee.
