Henning Kjaernulf oak sideboard, 1970s

The striking Scandinavian highboard by Henning Kjaernulf, designed for EG Møbler, comes from the 1970s.  Overall size is H: 127 / W: 197 / D: 49 cm. This highboard is predominantly crafted from solid oak adorned with magnificent forged steel fittings. It showcases two lockable cabinets with inner shelves, along with two spacious drawers at the bottom. A captivating sculptural front pattern adds a refreshing design element, seamlessly blending bold Baroque aesthetics with mid-century modernism, and can also be perceived as a brutalist piece. This versatile furniture piece can complement various interior styles, including modern, antique, classic, Scandinavian, or Art Deco.  Additional dimensions: Inner drawers height: 3 cm, Drawers height: 11 cm, Ground clearance 10 cm. The piece has been renovated by our team. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and finished with several layers of Danish oil. We have made sure that all drawers and hinges work properly. Overall, it remains in fantastic original condition with signs of use.
