Four MBFA Pornic Rosita pattern stoneware plates, hand-decorated with a rose motif in shades of pink and green. Each piece is slightly different, adding to the charm of handcrafted items. Their matte finish, beige-grey rim accented with a beautiful lilac border, and caramel-colored underside bring an authentic and warm touch to the table. The Manufacture Bretonne de Faïences Artistiques (MBFA), founded in 1947 in Pornic, has left its mark on the history of French artisanal tableware. The Rosita pattern was created in the 1970s by Lucette Loirat, the company's renowned decorator and Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France) in 1979, who designed over one hundred floral motifs for the factory. Stamped MBFA Pornic, hand-painted – Rosita pattern – France. Diameter 20.5 cm, height 2 cm. Excellent vintage condition, very glossy. I also have a set of six plates in my shop, all the same design and from the same manufacturer, as well as a large platter. This tableware has a delicate charm and subtle graphic relief, perfect for a modern cottage-style, slow-decorating look.
