Charming MBFA Pornic glazed stoneware plates, Rosita model, hand-decorated with a rose motif in shades of pink and green. Each piece is slightly different, which adds to the charm of artisanal production. Their matte finish and beige-gray border, highlighted by a stunning parma border, and the caramel-colored underside, bring an authentic and warm touch to the table. The Manufacture Bretonne de Faïences Artistiques (MBFA), founded in 1947 in Pornic, has made its mark on the history of French artisanal tableware. The Rosita design was created in the 1970s by Lucette Loirat, a renowned interior designer and Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 1979, who designed over a hundred floral motifs for the factory. Stamped MBFA Pornic, hand-painted – Rosita model - France. Diameter 20.5 cm. Beautiful vintage condition, one of the plates has a glaze flaw (see photos). Characterful tableware, combining authentic craftsmanship with a soft floral touch, perfect for a cottagecore feel.
