Elegant earthenware fruit bowl with a scalloped rim, signed HB Quimper, hand-painted decoration (P.H.) in black, yellow, and white. The decoration features a beaded (or tubular) relief, known as "pear-shaped, " developed by Pierre Poquet in the 1930s/40s and inspired by Breton women's embroidery. References under the piece: F.264 D.306 P.H. Produced in the 1950s-1960s. Glossy glaze, good overall condition, with a tiny chip under the rim (see photo). A beautiful decorative or functional piece. Dimensions: Diameter 31 cm, Height 6 cm.
