📜 Description of the Item. We offer you a very rare and elegant 4-piece Tea/Coffee Service, emblematic of the French Art Deco era (1920-1940). This exceptional service was crafted by the famous silversmith Rodolphe Reysec, active in Paris from 1922 to 1946. Each piece is distinguished by its geometric, sleek, and powerful design, typical of Art Deco: faceted handles, tapered bodies with relief patterns resembling skyscrapers, and sturdy feet. 🇫🇷 Authenticity and Hallmarks. This service is made of high-quality Silver-Plated Metal, as evidenced by the hallmarks: Master Silversmith's Mark: RR (in a square) with the swastika/Buddhist cross, formally identifying Rodolphe Reysec. Quality Mark: R.V.R. (in the centre), the alloy or guarantee mark used by the silversmith. Weight Hallmarks: Each piece bears the mark of the pure silver weight used for plating, ensuring the quality and durability of the silvering: Teapot / Coffee Pot: 15 grams. Sugar Bowl: 10 grams. Milk Jug: 5 grams. (This is evidence of careful manufacturing, where the amount of silver is suited to the size of the piece). ☕ Composition of the Service (4 Pieces) and approximate dimensions. Teapot: Height with lid 22 cm, width with spout and handle 24 cm. Coffee Pot: Height with lid 24 cm, width with spout and handle 22 cm. Sugar Bowl: Height with lid: 18 cm, width with handles 18 cm. Milk Jug: Height 12 cm, width with spout and handle 12.5 cm. ✨ Condition. Excellent structural condition. The silver plating shows slight signs of use.
