Superb silver-plated tea and coffee service comprising three matching pieces: • A coffee pot, 20 cm high. • A milk jug, 11 cm high. • A covered sugar bowl, 17 cm high. This beautiful set bears the hallmark of the Cross of Lorraine, the hallmark of Lorraine silversmiths active around 1900, and the initials V and E. The style is typical of the late 19th/early 20th century, with rich beaded friezes and carved wooden handles for the tea and coffee pots. Specifications: • Period: circa 1900. • Material: silver-plated metal. • Hallmark: Cross of Lorraine. • Total weight: approx. 2 kg. • Gilt (vermeil) or silver-plated interiors in very good condition, with some signs of use on the milk jug. Condition: Very good overall condition, no dents. A few light scratches from use, visible in the photos, but which do not detract from the elegance of the set. Notes: • The wooden handles are in excellent condition and securely attached. • A cohesive and decorative set, perfect for collectors, lovers of Belle Époque design, or for a refined table setting.
