Glazed stoneware vase with a free and sculptural silhouette, signed Yamika and dated 1978. The piece plays on a striking contrast between two worlds: on one side, a flared neck and a body covered in a speckled brown-taupe glaze with drips and ash effects, typical of 1970s artisanal stoneware; on the other, the clay left raw, worked into sinuous reliefs evoking a shell or an organic leaf, offering a raw and textured material of the finest effect. A pottery object with a strong character, straddling the line between utility and sculpture, perfect as a unique piece in a composition of vintage objects or contemporary ceramics. Condition: Generally good condition with a small chip on the neck (visible in the photo), no cracks or restoration. Signed under the base. Dimensions: H 19.5 cm X W 12 cm X D 6 cm. Material: Glazed stoneware. Period: 1978 (piece signed and dated).
