Pair of Limoges Porcelain Compotiers – Red Cross / Hospital Style

Superb and authentic pair of low compotiers/on pedestals (fruit bowls) in Limoges porcelain from the interwar period. Adorned with the famous clean design "hospital style" featuring an almond green border and the official emblem of the French Red Cross. Originally intended for the dining halls of officers or executives in hospital/sanatorium structures, they complement each other perfectly: • Compotier 1: Diameter 22 cm / Height 4.5 cm. • Compotier 2: Diameter 23 cm / Height 4 cm. (Supposedly designed for optimised stackable storage). Traceability and Historical Marks: The pieces bear the back stamp of the Charlionais & Panassier decoration house (Lyon - Toulouse). One of them also retains the green "white" stamp of the prestigious Union Céramique (U.C) Limoges, certifying 100% local production.
