Playful mezzopileo table lamp designed by gae aulenti for artemide, italy 1972. This type of lamp exists out of 3 sizes, the pileino (smallest version), the mezzopileo and the pileo (large floorlamp). This mezzopileo lamp is made in white plastic and has a black plastic bottom. Its helmet shaped shade is adjustable so the light can reflect in several ways. Due its futuristic approach to design, this series of lamps were propelled by films such as space 1999 as well as episodes of dr who in 1978 and 2010. The lamp stands in a good condition, no chips or cracks are noticed. Signed artemide on the bottom.
